The Texas Chapter of Kairos Prison Ministry International is setting the mark again. Our Unity Among Community conference will begin Friday evening November 7, 2008 with a social. Saturday will bring workshops, informative meetings and guests speakers and the evening will culminate with a great dinner and delightful entertainment. Sunday morning will round out our great weekend with all of us together as one body in Christ. The theme for our conference is Unity Among Community. You will be seeing many events and training sessions this year which will culminate with the conference in November. Our conference will be held at the Omni Austin Hotel at Southpark and will be aimed at providing a place and opportunity for all of Texas Kairos to come together and share our common goals. The conference will be packed with sessions to learn about areas of Kairos you may not be familiar with or need a refresher on.Please don’t be confused by all the excitement about the conference. You may get the idea this is a fun place to come and it will be. However the main purpose of the conference is to bring all of us together under one roof to learn more about this gift from Christ we call Kairos. Please make no mistake this will be a working weekend with a little fun thrown in. We promise you will earn your time to sit back and enjoy the festivities that come with this conference.
